Stephanie is the local crafter often found working the store, planning events, and running the day to day. She primarily works in crochet and uses up cycled and natural fibers whenever possible.

Kelly Thompson

Kelly is an oil painter of nature scenes from Duluth, the Boundary Waters, and more. (I’ve seen her portraits and watercolors- also amazing!) She is often found working at a local photography gallery and spending time with her family when she’s not painting.

Laura Kepp

Laura is an RN and mom of favorite shop “employee” and little artist Wesley by day, and master of sewing and sign making by night. She’s the maker of our absolute favorite headbands (ahem, currently ON SALE), as well as some cute and funny signs that you probably need in your house, and super clever Lake Superior Ts and tanks.

Amy is an old friend but new artist in the shop who makes some of the coolest earrings around. Her eye for detail and design is outstanding and we are in love with her earrings!

Grandma Patty blankets

Life-long sewing maven, she is Grandma to shop dog, Lily, and to our fav little “employee” Wesley. Patty has been making beautiful and soft blankets that are truly “a hug from Grandma Patty.” Her blankets can be found in our shop and she donates her proceeds to charity.

Backwoods Knits

Anita is a Grandma to some pretty great kiddos, and knitter of fabulous things! Her socks are a hit because of their warmth and softness. We only have a few available online, stop in the store to see the full selection.

Elevated Spores

Local forager and mushroom expert, Wesley, has combined his skills with local Alakef coffee, chai tea, and other delicious drinks to bring the health benefits to you. He also has some tinctures available for more specialized benefits. We enjoy his coffee and chai in-store and all we can say is YUM.

Shelly Barry

Shelly is a life-long outdoorswoman who has one of the biggest and most beautiful collections of Lake Superior agates in the area. She found each one herself and has sliced and polished some of the best for sale here and in store.
