We believe that local, handmade art and quality up cycled and affordable vintage style should be accessible to all. Artists and crafters need a place to show and sell their work, hold events and classes, build connections and community. We are proud to be that space and we are a safe space for ALL.

Melissa Weisser Art
Melissa is an artist & the main owner of ALT Creative. She manages the youth art and music programming for the Duluth Armory by day, does random crafts and dog snuggling by night. She is also active in local progressive causes and is an expert at taking on too many commitments, but also fostering a sense of belonging, safety and kindness at Alt.

Tam is our local furniture up cycling, protest art creating, social media maven who creates powerful things. She is a long time activist, boy and dog mom, and the sole vendor for Annie Sloan paints in the Northland. She has saved countless pieces of vintage furniture and art by giving them a new life with extra sass.
